Episode 5: Ghosts are Bullshit (October 20th 2017)
This episode:
HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!
In this spooktactular edition of what’s been called “the
scariest podcast ever recorded” by bullshit ‘medium’ Derek Acorah (not really;
just like him, we’re making it all up), Jeremy adopts a new non de plume for his Rock and Roll Name
and accidentally insults the state of Texas; Vince solves a centuries old
murder case by identifying pretentious middle-class totty actor Martin Shaw as
Jack the Ripper, and confesses he’s never been to Wigan (Vince, that is: not
sure about Martin Shaw – perhaps he can let us know in the comments section);
and both friends fondly reminisce about their school days at a mediocre Comprehensive
when they bossed the second-rate teaching staff into letting them write and
film a terrible video adaptation of Dracula,
which nonetheless was considerably better than the one made by Francis Ford
Coppola fifteen years later.
The artists/bands rated and/or discussed are Warren Zevon, R
Dean Taylor, Talking Heads, Michael Jackson, and Classics IV.
